Eliot H. Lebenhart
Eliot H. Lebenhart,
CPA, is a Certified Public Accountant
who graduated from the University of New York at Binghamton in 1975. Prior
to starting his own firm, he worked for CPA firms that specialized in the
sports and entertainment industry.
Eliot is presently on the Executive Board of Directors for the National
Conference of CPA Practitioners for the Nassau/Suffolk, New York area. He is
also co-chairman of NCCPAP's Management of an Accounting Practice Committee.
Eliot is also currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Eliot is a speaker at various investment seminars speaking on tax and
financial planning strategies. He is also a frequent speaker on management of
accounting practice issues. Eliot has also appeared on television and radio
shows speaking about financial and tax related strategies.
Eliot continues to fight a losing battle to find time to play golf. He currently
lives in Dix Hills with his wife Jane. His daughter Sari is a financial advisor
with Smith Barney and is a partner in the Fourth Avenue Group. His son Scott is
a real estate investment analyst.

Cathy Hughes

Cathy Hughes
graduated from Hofstra University in 1996
with a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Accounting.
She earned her license as a Certified Public Accountant from the State of
New York in 1998.
Cathy
joined Eliot H. Lebenhart, CPA upon graduating from Hofstra. Her main
responsibilities include servicing clients, tax preparation, preparation
of financial statements and assisting clients with various taxing authorities.
She is a member of the American
Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society
of Certified Public Accountants.

Patty Palumbo
Patty
Palumbo is the friendly voice you hear when you call Eliot H. Lebenhart,
CPA. She has worked for Eliot since September of 1991. Patty is the
office manager and is a notary public. She is in charge of accounts payable, accounts
receivable, processing of all individual/ corporate income tax returns
along with processing all financial statements.

Donna Popeil

Donna started with the firm February 2005. Her responsibilities
include office administration along with account analysis. Donna
graduated from Long Island University, C.W. Post Campus where she
received her MBA in finance and MS in education.
She currently resides on Long Island with her husband and children.

Karin Pezzuti

Karin Pezzuti is a seasoned, professional full-charge bookkeeper with
over 15 years of experience in both private and public sectors of
accounting.
Since Karin joined the staff of Eliot H. Lebenhart, CPA her main
responsibility is to maintain client’s accounts in a timely and accurate
fashion. Maintaining an account includes processing bank
reconciliations, payroll and sales tax returns, as well as assisting
clients with their day-to-day accounting needs.
Karin is well known in the industry for her unparalleled record of
loyalty, trust and outstanding work ethic.
Karin currently resides on Long Island with her husband and family.

Spike
currently resides in Boca Raton Florida with his owners and
his responsibilities include occasional barking, running, wagging his tail and
wearing the latest in Eliot Lebenhart couture.
